Completely-in-canal (CIC) hearing aids are the second smallest custom hearing aids available. They are designed and shaped to fit almost entirely inside your ear canal and are difficult to see even from the side. Only the hearing aid face plate and battery door is visible from a narrow angle. Note that Completely-in-canal hearing aids have an extraction cord (seen in the middle image above) attached to the hearing aid to facilitate inserting and removing them from the ear.
